Custom Designs
Change an Existing Product
Any game product I sell is designed to suit the widest variety of needs that I can think of, but no design is perfect for every situation.
Perhaps your multiclassed paladin needs more space to record their many class abilities, or your rogue needs a special section to remember their sneak attack dice. Could we add a new section to track your wild shape HP or homebrew features? You bet!
Here are some common customisations:
Custom character sheet illustrations (£120)
Replacing or editing an existing section (£20)
Removing unwanted sections (£20)
Rearranging items on the page
Changes to suit a homebrew game system
Translating into a different language

Commission a Design
In some cases, you might need something specific for your games that you can’t find anywhere else. It may be a special handout for your players, or a unique page for your character sheet or Campaign Diary which doesn’t exist yet. If so, I will be happy to help. If your idea is something which I think I can sell on my store in the future, we may even be able to discuss a lower price for your custom design.
Pricing
Pricing is arranged on a project by project basis, depending on how complex the work is and whether you have already purchased any product you are altering. If you contact me about your specific project, I can give you an estimated price for the work.
Cartography
Custom Maps
What’s a fantasy world without an epic map? Whether your adventures lead across vast continents, tiny towns or sprawling dungeons, nothing grabs the imagination and brings your story to life quite like a great map.
Creating a custom map can mean a lot of things, but here are a few of the maps I can create:
World maps
Continent maps
Region maps
Town maps
Dungeon maps
Treasure maps
Pricing
Maps can take a long time to draw, and the longer it takes, the more it will cost. That means that the more detail you require, edits you make, or even just the size of the map may change the price. Each project is priced individually, but here is a rough estimate of some typical maps:
Complex map - world maps, detailed continents, complex dungeons – £350
General map - large regions, city maps, large dungeons – £200
Simple map - towns, area around a village, treasure map, small dungeon – £100

How does it work?
My cartography service generally has four steps:
Discuss the details – let me know exactly what you are looking for (see tips below).
Initial sketch – a simple outline, discussing any adjustments before detailed work begins.
Detailed map – your map is drawn in full detail, based on step 1 and 2.
Minor changes – you note any minor changes, and we’ve got a finished map!
At the end of the process I will send you a high resolution digital version of your map, ready to be printed or used in your own games as you see fit.
Top tips
Aim to keep your map description as short as possible and keep all information map related. While I do love creative worldbuilding, I may not be able to digest a full lore document!
A sketch, or short description of the general features of your map can be a big help. Some useful things for me to know are the general scale of the map or distances involved, the types of biome present (desert, forest, plains, mountains etc.) and any specific features which need to be there or need to not be there. If you aren’t sure or don’t particularly mind, I can create something based on my own ideas.
FAQs
-
When you get in touch about a new project, we will discuss the details and prices before starting any work. I manage all project work via email as that allows me to reference and revisit any details throughout the project, and will let me set my own schedule, especially if we live in different time zones.
-
Each project is different and requires different amounts of time to complete. A simple project might take a few days, or something complex could take a number of weeks. Generally I will try to let you know how long I would expect your project to take, but if you have a specific deadline in mind, make sure to let me know when commissioning a design.
-
Once we have exchanged initial ideas and discussed the estimated cost, I may ask for a 50% deposit before the work begins, with final payment due when the project is completed. Any payments will be made via a secure online payment system.

Unfortunately I am not able to speak multiple languages, but if a customer is willing to provide a translation I will try to accommodate it! Usually I ask that the translation is made using official game terms where available, and sadly I cannot translate large text sections or game rules as they may be protected by copyright.
-
Usually, no. As is standard with these kinds of products, the copyright and ownership of a design stay with the original artist and you purchase the permission to use it in a particular way. Sharing with people at your private gaming table or posting a low res photo on social media is fine, but if you want to commission a design for selling or distributing (called commercial use), please let me know at the beginning of the design process and I can advise if this is possible.

In most cases a custom order will be too specific for me to sell on my store, but as I retain the copyright for the completed product, it is possible that your product or something similar to it may be sold in the future. But good news! If you have a great idea which I would like to sell, I may give you a discount in expectation of profit from future sales. If you would like to purchase an exclusive license so the product cannot be sold on my store, let me know before starting the project.

Hopefully! Unfortunately I have limited time and limited experience with other RPG systems, so those kind of new products are hard to develop. I love to make sure that my designs are useful, clear, and above all fun and easy to use, so having experience of the game system I am creating for is very important. I hope to be able to delve into some new games soon.

There are lots of different styles for fantasy maps, and as with most map makers, I have developed my own illustration style that I prefer to use. Of course, some small variation may be possible if you have specific ideas you would like to discuss.
-
Of course! I am always happy for you to change my designs to suit your own needs, provided you only use the edited designs for yourself and your own games. If you try to make a change but it doesn’t turn out quite as you had hoped, just get in touch and I will be happy to help.

Oops – sorry about that! If you have noticed a mistake, error, glitch, or problem of any kind with one of my products, please let me know and I will be happy to fix it if I can.
In the case of custom products, the final check and confirmation is up to you, so if you notice a mistake after printing a design, I may not be able to replace those printed copies, but will be happy to update any digital files.
